I have always had a passion for the creative process. Whether drawing pictures, sculpting with clay or composing a great photograph, I love the way that art allows us to express who we are and how we are feeling at any given moment in time.
As a photographer it is my privilege to capture the special moments in my clients’ lives, serving as a lasting reflection of who they are and what they were feeling during a celebration, milestone or season.
I sincerely believe that in order to provide you with authentic images, our time together should first and foremost be FUN! I work hard to make sure you feel comfortable so you can truly enjoy your time in front of the camera. I am confident that the most fun—and most successful— photo sessions are those that are client-led. I want to showcase YOU, so I am committed to collaboration! The more ideas, props, and locations that you share with me, the more my photos will look and feel like you. My hope is that with each image, you will see a slightly different facet of your personality, causing you to smile all over again.
Lastly, I am committed to making quality photography accessible to all my clients. My relationships with my clients are my motivation. Nothing gives me more satisfaction as a photographer than providing you with meaningful and affordable photography. That is why I have thoughtfully structured my photography business in a way that allows me to offer outstanding, yet cost-effective, services.
Thank you for spending some time getting to know me and my work. I look forward to the opportunity to work together soon!
For the past 10+ years, I have had the good fortune to “work” in a job that allows me to combine my talents and my passions. Providing beautiful photography to families brings me tremendous joy, and I always look forward to reconnecting with returning clients and building relationships with new ones. My client relationships are truly the most rewarding part of my work!
Prior to starting my photography business, I completed a degree in studio art from Concordia University in Moorhead and worked as an elementary art teacher. Today, I am a full-time mom to three busy kids (who also happen to be my favorite photography subjects) and enjoy spending time with my husband, our extended family and friends.
